Hi, and welcome to the Chaos in Stasis Lab. This website is designed to house various experimental projects and builds intended to make the world a better (or worse) place. Jokes aside, it is a little hub of basement citizen science, minus the basement. Please feel free to poke around - we hope you find our data and experiments (if we ever get around to them) interesting and maybe even useful.
The Lab is particularly interested in neurology and siesmology, although until more equipment is afforded at the moment we are almost exclusively focusing on siesmological data. Our current foremost project is Quakelog, a database of Japanese earthquakes which includes all earthquakes (however small) since 13/05/2026, with the hope of drawing conclusions and perhaps projections from this data. While Japanese earthquake data is particularly rich, we are currently looking at expanding the database to include earthquake data from Australia and New Zealand as well.
If you're interested in the story behind this website, we highly encourage you to check out our About page, which (has/will eventually have) details about the Lab's author, ideals, website, and purpose.
Thank you for visiting!
